How It Works
Three Simple Steps
The referral process is straightforward. Submit your friend’s details, they open and fund their account, and your credit is applied.
Submit the referral form
Fill out the form below with your information and your friend’s contact details. You can refer one person per account.
Your friend opens an account
Your friend will receive an email invitation to open a MetroTrade account, fund it with at least $500, and start trading on MetroTrader.
You receive your credit
Once your friend qualifies, a $50 commission credit will be applied to your MetroTrade account and used automatically against future trades.

Who Qualifies
Both the referrer and the referee must meet the following requirements for the commission credit to be applied.
Referrer Requirements
- Must have a live, funded MetroTrade account
- Must be in good standing at time of referral
- Limited to one referral per account
Referee Requirements
- Must be a new MetroTrade customer
- Must fund their account with at least $500
- Must place trades through the MetroTrader platform

Eligibility
The MetroTrade Refer-a-Friend Program is available to existing individual MetroTrade customers who hold a live, funded account in good standing at the time of referral. Joint accounts, IRA accounts, corporate accounts, and professional accounts are not eligible to participate as referrers.
The program is open to all eligible MetroTrade customers, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Referral Limit
Each eligible referrer is limited to one qualifying referral per account. Only one commission credit will be issued per referrer regardless of the number of referrals submitted.
Referee Requirements
To generate a qualifying referral, the referred individual must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be a new MetroTrade customer who has not previously held a MetroTrade account in any capacity
- Open a new individual live trading account through MetroTrade
- Complete the live trading account application
- Fund the account with a minimum initial deposit of $500 within 30 days of account creation
- Conduct trading activity through the MetroTrader platform
Trades placed through third-party platforms or integrations do not qualify toward this program.
Commission Credit
Upon verification that all referee requirements have been met, a $50 commission credit will be applied to the referrer’s MetroTrade account within 7 business days.
The commission credit is a commission adjustment only. It is not a cash deposit and cannot be withdrawn from the account. The credit does not count toward margin requirements and cannot be used to prevent margin calls or account liquidation. The credit will remain on the referrer’s account and will be applied automatically against future commissions until the full balance is consumed.
New Account Deposit Bonus
The referee is not a direct recipient of any reward under the Refer-a-Friend Program. However, referred individuals who open a new MetroTrade account may independently qualify for MetroTrade’s New Account Deposit Bonus, subject to the separate terms and conditions of that promotion. Account Status
The referrer must hold an active MetroTrade account at the time the commission credit is issued. If the referrer’s account is closed prior to the credit being applied, the credit will not be issued and will be forfeited.
Combining Promotions
This offer cannot be combined with other referral promotions. The referrer’s $50 commission credit is separate from and does not affect any promotions the referee may independently qualify for.
Program Changes
MetroTrade reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Refer-a-Friend Program at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be made available at metrotrade.com where possible. Participation in the program constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Tax Considerations
Commission credits issued under this program may be subject to tax reporting requirements. Participants are responsible for understanding and complying with any applicable tax obligations. MetroTrade recommends consulting a qualified tax professional regarding any questions about the tax treatment of promotional credits.
Risk Disclosure
Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. The commission credit provided under this program does not reduce trading risk, guarantee profits, or protect against losses. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
